BOOK A CALL

The Deru Way

A different way of

leading.

You've likely felt it — that carrying the weight shouldn't have to feel this heavy.

Deru starts there.

Most ways of working start with what’s in front of you — what needs to be done, what’s urgent, what’s expected. So you stay on top of things. Stay involved. Keep it moving.

At the start, that works. You feel in control. Needed. On it.

But over time, it shifts. You’re still solving problems at 7pm. Still thinking about work when you’re home. Still the one everything comes back to.

"It worked to build it. It doesn't work to carry it."

The familiar pattern

You get used to it. Which is the problem.

You're still solving problems at 7pm. Still thinking about work when you're home. Still the one everything comes back to.

Snapping at home over nothing. Sitting there but not really there. Running through decisions in your head that are already done.

It doesn't sit right. Because you know this isn't how you want to be.

And it keeps going like that. The same conversations. The same pressure. The same pace.

You get used to it. Which is the problem.

Because nothing changes — it just becomes familiar.

"When everything outside drives your attention, you're reacting. Solving, chasing, surviving. Trying to stay ahead. And that's where pressure builds — in the uncertainty."

Pressure doesn't come from the responsibility. It comes from how you're carrying it.

Holding everything at once. Thinking about ten things while dealing with one. Carrying decisions long after they’ve been made. This breeds overthinking, overcompensating,
and overwhelm.

That’s where the weight comes from.

Deru works differently. Not from the outside in — from the inside out.

It doesn’t start with what you do. It starts with how you’re showing up while doing it.

 THE DERU RHYTHM

Growth follows a natural rhythm — always from the inside out.

Think of your favourite tree. Each year, growth begins below the surface in the roots. A man’s growth works the same way. What happens within shows up outside.
This is the foundation of the Deru Rhythm.

Firstly,

Root Deeper

You become more grounded in truth. Clearer on who you are, what matters, and what isn’t yours to carry.

From there, you

Strengthen Structure

Identity, standards, and direction begin to support you instead of working against you.

Next, you

Lead Freer

Things flow better, the mind gets calmer, action creates momentum, people respond well, and time opens up.

Then you

Enjoy the Build

You have space again. To think. To grow. To be present in the life you’re building this for.

Same business. Same ambition. Same challenges.
Just a more grounded way of leading — so you can carry it differently.

Where Deru comes from

I grew up on a farm in County Wicklow, the eldest of five.

From early on, I learned to work hard, take responsibility, and get on with it. Most of my life, I've worked two jobs — work or school during the day, and the farm in the evenings and weekends.

That work ethic stayed with me. So did the pressure.

My value became tied to what I did. I carried more, stayed longer, pushed through — even when something didn't feel right. On the outside, things looked solid. Inside, it felt heavy. Always on. Head full.

"I realised the pressure wasn't the work — it was how out of alignment I was with myself. So I came back to my truth."

Since then, I've built a home, a marriage, and a business that actually fit me. I still work hard. I still carry responsibility. But it feels spacious and light — with purpose, presence, and peace of mind.

I enjoy what I'm building and the life around it.

That's where Deru comes from.

The Deru leader

Deru leaders are not perfect — they're grounded.

Still building. Still leading. Just not carrying it all the same way.

Calm under pressure

Not reactive. Not swept up. Present and steady when it matters most.

Clear in decisions

Decisions made once and trusted. No second-guessing. No carrying them all day.

Present where you are

At home. In the room. Not elsewhere in your head while standing right there.

Trusted by people around you

Your team steps up because you're not stepping in. People respond to who you are, not just what you do.

You don't have to figure this out alone

There's value in being around men who understand this.

Through conversations. The podcast. Time outdoors.

Men I don't have to explain it to. A space where you can speak openly or just listen.

There's nothing wrong about wanting this. But if you feel like it's too much or not the right time — watch the case studies.

Men in your position went from constant pressure to leading with freedom within weeks and months.

If this feels like something you've been looking for.

You don't have to figure this out alone.
